3) Cut a piece of aluminium plate of approx 1.6mm thickness as shown in the attached drawing (figure 3) and photo. Ensure the plate fits into the cap light and the screw holes line up. Note: the plate must be flat and the surface must be smooth to ensure good heat transfer.

4) The rubber seal on its own has no rigidity, originally it is fitted to the reflector so that it is positioned correctly, we can either machine a washer as shown in figure 3 or cut the reflector down as shown in the photo.

5) Fit the rubber seal to the cut down reflector or washer as shown in the photo above.
