StenLight

The StenLight is another twin LED design, this time both LEDs are fitted with optics. The optics can be changed by the owner; wide, medium and narrow are available. The spot produced is not as tight as the Scurion, and the flood is not as wide; however, the resulting bean is very good for most scenarios. The StenLight uses a lithium-ion battery of smaller size than the Scurion. The light is controlled by a simple switch and has 4 brightness levels. On full brightness the battery life is approximately 3 hours. The last StenLight I looked at was not using the latest generation of LEDs and hence, was not as bright as it could have been. The manufacturers’ website still lists the maximum brightness as 140 Lumens, if the light is updated to use the latest generation of LEDs, it will be hard to beat.
